Socket.dev in Arlington, Virginia, seeks a Facility Security Officer (TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph) to build and lead the industrial security program from the ground up. You will own the DCSA interface, scale the program with rapid growth, and oversee the design and accreditation of our first SCIF.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and will place you at the center of national security work within a small defense AI company.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 5+ years as an FSO or Assistant FSO on DoD/IC programs.
• CDSE FSO certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs (incl. ICD 705), and DCSA compliance.
• Familiarity with DISS, NISS, eQIP and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary interface with DCSA and security stakeholders, owning NISPOM compliance, self-inspections, audits, and relationships that keep programs moving.
• Administer the personnel security lifecycle: DISS, NISS, eQIP, clearance processing, crossovers, visit requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, scaling each as headcount grows.
• Manage classified contract security: DD254 review, contract-specific security plans, and operational requirements from each program's classification guide.
• Stand up and run Insider Threat Program and SETA program, built for a company that will look very different in a year.
• Lead design, construction, and ICD 705 accreditation of the first SCIF, from concept through sustained ops.
• Build procedures that scale from today's headcount to several times larger, making compliance a feature of the company.
