Job summary

Connexus Hub is seeking a Security Team Lead to manage contract security efforts for government and Fortune 500 clients. You will be the primary managerial and technical point of contact with the CO, COR, and Government management, ensuring performance within budget, schedule, scope, and quality.

The role requires leadership for the team, risk mitigation planning, and clear communications with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 2+ years direct supervisory experience – managing employee performance, schedules, daily administration.
• 2+ years’ experience providing administrative and physical security for a Government Agency.
• Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems and commonly used Government approved devices.
• Working knowledge of JPAS DISS, and Scattered Castles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ensure contract goals and objectives are achieved within budget, schedule, scope, and quality constraints.

We are looking for a Security Team Lead.

• Position Type: Full time, W2 salaried plus benefits
• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly

Duties:

• Primary managerial and technical point of contact with the CO, COR, and Government management.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management, administration, and performance for this contract including management and supervision of all personnel.
• Ensure that contract goals and objectives are achieved within budget, schedule, scope, and quality constraints.
• Provide team leadership, help formulate risk mitigation plans, foster open communications with the team and Government, and resolve issues.
• Perform oversight duties at both locations
• Perform PWS tasks as needed including:
  • Physical Security: Assist in performing walkthroughs, inspections
  • Indoctrinations and Debriefings: Conduct security indoctrinations into sensitive and classified programs, schedule polygraphs, investigate and reporting security violations, review and submit security clearance background investigations, administer and submit fingerprints, prepare foreign born waiver packages, other personnel security tasks
  • Badging: Program badges and verify security badges within 24 hours of request
  • Visitor Control: Provide escorting services as needed and provide font desk support
  • Meetings: Participate in meetings and offering subject matter expertise
  • Facility Closing: Conduct security walkthrough of the facility

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• 4+ years relevant experience in lieu of a Degree
• 2+ years’ experience providing administrative and physical security for a Government Agency
• 2+ years direct supervisory experience – managing employee performance, schedules, daily administration
• Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems, UL 2050 certified IDS, commonly used Government approved devices, safes, storage containers, locks, locking systems, and personnel entry control system
• Working knowledge of JPAS DISS, and Scattered Castles
• Skilled in and knowledge with software applications including Microsoft Office
• Must be able to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing
