Perrygo Consulting Group, LLC seeks an experienced Facility Security Officer to lead our DoD/commercial security program at the Lexington Park, MD site. You will oversee personnel clearances, DISS/NBIS/NISS/SWFT, and maintain the FCL, policies, procedures, and documentation to meet NISPOM and DCSA requirements.

You will coordinate security reviews, inspections, onboarding/offboarding, and training, partnering with HR, Contracts, Recruiting and Program Management to ensure all security needs

Qualifications

• FSO certification/training required.
• 7+ years senior FSO experience in DoD security.
• Experience with DoD/NISPOM and security systems (DISS/NBIS/NISS/SWFT).
• Must be US citizen with Top Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO). This role supports our corporate office in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Serve as designated FSO responsible for maintaining the company's FCL
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with DoD, DCSA, and NISPOM requirements while supporting the security needs of our government contracts and employees
• Possess a strong understanding of contracting security requirements, demonstrate sound judgment, and effectively manage security operations within a dynamic environment
• Maintain compliance with NISPOM requirements
• Manage personnel clearances, DISS, NBIS, security trainings, DD254's, and DCSA inspections
• Manage and maintain the company's industrial security program, policies, procedures and documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DCSA, government security representatives, and other applicable agencies
• Prepare for and coordinate DCSA security reviews, inspections and assessments
• Maintain required security records and reporting through the NISS
• Manage personnel security clearance processes, including initial investigations, re-investigations, continuous vetting requirements, and clearance transfers
• Maintain personnel security records and access information using DISS, and NBIS, as applicable
• Coordinate employee security onboarding and offboarding
• Verify employee eligibility and access requirements
• Process visit authorization requests and coordinate classified visits
• Conduct required security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training
• Review and manage DD Form 2254 requirements for both classified and unclassified contracts, from both a Prime contractor, and subcontractor position
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Contracts, Recruiting, and Program Management to ensure security requirements are satisfied
• Support classified contract transitions, new contract awards, and review security requirements for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Basic Requirements

• FSO certification/training
• Senior level (7+ years) FSO experience and knowledge of DoD security requirements
• Current expertise working within various security related systems such as DISS, NBIS, NISS, SWFT

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferred

Security Clearance: Top Secret(must be a US Citizen)

Telework and Travel: Hybrid
