Perrygo Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an Intermediate System Administrator to support our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD. The role emphasizes maintaining Windows and Linux servers, performing backups, patching, and automation through PowerShell and batch scripting.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of server administration, experience with DNS/DHCP/GPOs, STIGs, ACAS scans, troubleshooting and a US citizenship with Top Secret clearance preferred. On-site work and a funded contract.

Currently, we are seeking aSystem Administrator, Intermediate.This role supports ourNavycustomer in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

- Support routine server maintenance tasks, including disk cleanup, storage allocation, and verifying backups.
- Perform basic user and group management in Active Directory, such as creating accounts, resetting passwords, and updating permissions.
- Oversee and maintain patching by applying updates and mitigations, and documenting completed work.
- Monitor event logs and elevate issues related to system errors, warnings, or security alerts.
- Create, update and manage BATCH/PowerShell scripts for automating tasks.
- Apply STIGs and complete ACAS scans.
- Manage team tasking, build sprints, maintain SOPs, provide monthly status reports, and supervisory tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

3+ years server administration experience with Windows and RHEL operating systems. Experience managing DNS, DHCP, GPOs.
Experience patching, STIGs, ACAS scanning, backup/recovery, imaging and troubleshooting hardware and software. Security+ or other qualifying CSWF certification.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Troubleshooting; Windows 11; Windows Server and it’s roles (CS, AD, DNS, DHCP, NPS); familiar with STIGs and has completed STIG checklists. Linux knowledge, any distribution.
VMware / virtualization knowledge, VCF 9.x. Layer 2 / layer 3 networking;Infrastructure-as-Code experience preferred (Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Git);
