Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Facility Security Officer to build and manage our industrial security program as our federal business grows. You will serve as Cribl's FSO of record with the DCSA, own the Facility Clearance program, and support NISPOM compliance.

You will partner across Legal, People Ops, Contracts, Public Sector Sales, IT, Workplace, and Security & Compliance to maintain and grow our security posture for a distributed, remote-first team.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• 7+ years of industrial‑or personnel‑security experience.
• 3+ years as an appointed FSO or Assistant FSO at a cleared contractor.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and the NISPOM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Cribl's primary point of contact with DCSA and advise on government security requirements.
• Manage FCL sponsorship and maintenance in NISS; handle SF-328, KMP designations, changes, and FOCI reporting.
• Oversee cleared‑personnel lifecycle in DISS/NBIS; sponsorship, investigations, reinvestigations, continuous vetting, transfers, debriefings, terminations.
• Deliver security briefings (initial, annual, insider‑threat, foreign travel, etc.).
• Lead annual self‑inspections; prepare certifications, reports, and corrective actions for DCSA Reviews.
• Establish and maintain security policies, training, and records; coordinate with Contracts, Legal, and Leadership.
