Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead our industrial security program as our federal business grows. You will serve as Cribl's appointed FSO with DCSA, owning the FCL program and supporting NISPOM compliance. You’ll partner with Legal, People Ops, Contracts, and IT across a remote-first organization.

Key requirements include U.S. citizenship, active security clearance, and 7+ years in industrial- or personnel-security; 3+ years as an appointed FSO.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance, ability to obtain Top Secret.
• 7+ years in industrial- or personnel-security, including 3+ years as an appointed FSO.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and NISPOM.
• Experience with DISS/NBIS, NISS, eApp, FCL processing, and DD 254s.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCL sponsorship and maintenance in NISS; handle SF-328 and FOCI reporting.
• Oversee cleared personnel lifecycle: sponsorship, investigations, reinvestigations, vetting.
• Assist applicants through eApp; maintain confidential security records.
• Deliver required security briefings: initial, annual, insider-threat, travel.
• Review DD Form 254s; advise Contracts and Legal on security needs.
• Lead internal inspections; prepare certifications and DCSA-related reports.
• Serve as Cribl's primary point of contact with DCSA and executives.
