Job summary

Brookridge A Thrive More Community is seeking a security professional to guard the facility during evenings, nights and weekends. The role includes handling non-technical work orders per policy while ensuring compliance with sanitary and regulatory standards.

The position supports a 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, or VARIABLE schedule, including PRN or relief status, with responsibilities spanning security operations and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Some security experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and wear uniform.
• Must safely perform all essential job functions.
• Must satisfy licensing and certification requirements.
• Must comply with drug testing policies.

Responsibilities

• Handles incoming calls to the facility switchboard in a professional manner.
• Observes and enforces the facility security policies and procedures.
• Makes areas secure per facility policy to ensure safety of residents, staff and property.
• Completes shift reports and provides verbal reports to oncoming security personnel.
• Completes incident reports for unusual events during shift.
• Places copies of incident reports to the Director and Administrator.
