Job summary

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial / Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead the company’s transition into the cleared government contracting space. This role will guide the facility clearance process, establish a NISPOM-compliant security program, and serve as the designated FSO for the organization.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 5+ years of progressive industrial security experience.
• Previous experience serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO).
• Experience obtaining/maintaining a Department of Defense Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Experience establishing an industrial security program for a growing company.
• Strong knowledge of NISPOM and related regulations.
• Experience with DCSA and government security representatives.
• Experience administering personnel, facility, and security compliance programs.
• Experience with DISS, NISS, NBIS, and other government systems.
• Ability to build and mature security programs with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to obtain and maintain a DoD Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Serve as the designated Facility Security Officer and security SME.
• Liaise with DCSA, government sponsors, customers, and leadership.
• Develop and execute the industrial security strategy and roadmap.
• Guide FCL requirements including KMP reviews and compliance activities.
• Administer NISPOM-compliant security program and policies.
• Manage personnel security processes including sponsorships and investigations.
• Maintain security systems such as DISS, NISS, NBIS.
• Prepare and administer DD254s and contractor security requirements.
• Conduct self-inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Deliver SETA programs and security training.
• Manage classified material accountability and access controls.
• Support proposal and contract startup with security requirements.
• Advise leadership on security risks and compliance.
