Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social science, behavioral health or related discipline.
• IAHSS Basic/Advanced Officer and Supervisor Training within 6 months; Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator within 1 year.
• 2–3 years supervisory experience in a service setting; mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations and manage assigned personnel.
• Schedule management and timesheet/overtime processing.
• Conduct off-hours inspections as needed.
• Develop and update facility orders and competency tasks.
• Oversee multiple facilities and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Deliver security awareness training and programs for staff.
• Lead, manage and develop direct reports.
• Analyze department functions and propose improvements.
• Write and review reports and assess potential risks.
• Interact with facility leaders to implement security program.
