Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery is hiring a Facility Maintenance & Safety Manager in Carneys Point Township, NJ. The role focuses on building safety, risk management, and preventive maintenance to support smooth operations across our warehouse network.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in safety management, OSHA experience, and strong analytical and training skills. This is a full-time position requiring active on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of safety management experience.
• OSHA experience required.
• Warehouse safety experience preferred.
• Strong PC skills with Excel, Word and Access.
• Ability to facilitate training needs.
• Demonstrates ownership over projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse safety efforts and regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk assessments, inspections, and hazard control programs.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and building infrastructure repairs.
• Coordinate MRO purchasing with HQ and hub teams.
• Train staff and maintain safety documentation and records.
• Collaborate across departments to address safety and maintenance needs.
