Job summary

CMI Management LLC seeks an Assistant Facility Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and closeout of facilities repair and construction projects across Tennessee, including 13 federally owned properties and ~150 leased locations. You will work with the Project Manager and operations staff to deliver small projects and provide onsite support for larger efforts.

Responsibilities include preparing scopes of work, cost estimates, procurement packages, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience supporting commercial facilities projects.
• Experience in federal or regulated facilities is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, coordination, execution, and closeout for repair and construction projects in Tennessee.
• Support small projects up to the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, including scope development and cost estimating.
• Provide onsite assistance for larger projects led by customer PMs and contractors.
• Maintain schedules, cost records, risk logs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize impacts to occupants and building operations.
• Assist with budgets, procurement, and change documentation.
• Track costs and ensure documentation meets contract requirements.
• Monitor field activities for compliance with scope, safety, and codes.
