Dexterra Group seeks an Assistant Facility Project Manager to support planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of repairs and construction across Tennessee properties. You will work under the Project Manager and with facilities staff to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management, or related field preferred; associate degree or equivalent may be considered.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting commercial facilities, repair, renovation, or construction projects; federal or regulated facilities experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, maintaining schedules and action items, organizing project documentation, and following through on assignments.
• Working knowledge of construction and facilities project delivery, including plans, specs, scopes of work, cost estimates, submittals, changes, inspections, and closeout.
• Familiarity with OSHA and building, fire, life-safety, accessibility, environmental, and permitting requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination, execution, and closeout for repairs and construction across Tennessee properties.
• Support small projects up to the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, including scope development and cost estimating.
• Provide onsite assistance for larger projects, including design reviews, inspections, and contractor coordination.
• Maintain schedules, logs, cost records, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, facility personnel, tenants, contractors, and stakeholders to minimize impacts on operations.
• Assist with budgets, funding documentation, procurement, change control, and price support records.
• Track costs and commitments, ensuring labor, parts, materials, and subcontracted costs are properly documented.
• Monitor field activities for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; report deficiencies promptly.
• Coordinate access, badges, parking, outages, and logistics for project execution.
• Perform routine site visits, document progress and corrective actions, and assist with punch lists and closeouts.
• Enter and maintain project data in required systems and generate status updates for reports.
