Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Facility Planner to support the 23 CES Engineering Flight at Moody AFB, Georgia. The role requires a U.S.

citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and CAC access, and will support planning for F-35 facilities and other installation needs. The Planner will develop master plans, programming documents, space analyses, and execution strategies, collaborating with end users, project managers, and contractors to deliver compliant facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least three years of planning experience applying space-optimization standards to facility construction projects.
• Professional knowledge of facility-planning concepts, principles, theories, regulations, methods, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and develop solutions for complex facility-planning problems.
• Experience reviewing drawings and planning documents for functional adequacy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end users and stakeholders to define facility requirements and planning assumptions.
• Develop master plans, asset management documents, SOW, programming documents, and cost estimates.
• Create plans, drawings, reports, and project specifications; assist with drafting as needed.
• Perform technical reviews of design drawings and planning documents for adequacy.
• Assist with oversight of work activities and space planning; support quality control and safety measures.
