Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS, LLC) supports Malmstrom AFB with facility space planning, optimization, and real property programs. The role requires an active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident status for eligibility.

You will work with CES leadership, facility managers, and project teams to ensure space-planning decisions align with operational needs, facility standards, and long-term objectives. Travel to sites for assessments is expected.

Qualifications

• SECRET Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in planning, space planning, urban affairs, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year in facility space planning or related area.
• Knowledge of engineering/planning concepts for space management.
• Ability to gather, organize, and analyze facility data.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Support facility space management, planning, utilization, and optimization for Malmstrom AFB partners.
• Apply engineering and planning concepts to space-planning activities.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Facility Space Optimization Plan.
• Gather and analyze space data: occupancy, square footage, utilization.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the installation's footprint.
• Coordinate with CES and stakeholders to resolve space-planning issues.
• Prepare analytical reports and planning documents interpreting space standards.
• Maintain accurate space-planning records for mandated submissions and reviews.
• Present space-planning proposals to management and stakeholders.
• Safely operate a vehicle for site visits across MAFB.
