Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Facility Painter to maintain interior and exterior surfaces, performing painting, surface preparation, touch-ups, and coatings to keep buildings safe and visually appealing. Shifts include 1st Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm or 2nd Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm in Dallas, TX.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of painting experience in commercial or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial, industrial, or facility painting experience.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Follows safety policies and uses PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and cleaning
• Apply paint, stains, primers, sealers, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
• Clean up work area once project is finished
• Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
• Works on and completes all facility team-based goals
• Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests
• Other duties as required
