Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team on the second shift. You will spray a variety of parts to precise tolerances using different paints, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires good eye-hand coordination and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial spray painting experience.
  • Background in automotive refinishing or high-precision coatings encouraged.
  • Must pass respiratory physical.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain paint from inventory and mix with thinner as required.
  • Mix two-part urethane paint and reducer.
  • Spray paint parts to customer specifications.
  • Inspect parts for compliance with specifications.
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous waste per procedures.
  • Replace filters and clean spray booth as needed.
  • Move materials and maintain housekeeping.

Industrial Painter Summary

We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for spraying a variety of parts to precise tolerances and specifications using different types of paint. You must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Compensation

$20.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule

Second Shift: 3:30PM – 2:00AM, Monday to Thursday

Job Functions
  • Obtain paint specified for the job from the paint inventory
  • Mix with appropriate thinner as required for spraying viscosity
  • Mix two‑part urethane paint and reducer
  • Spray paint parts to specifications
  • Inspect parts for compliance with customer’s specifications
  • Pour surplus paint into waste paint bucket beside booth for collection as hazardous waste by the material handler
  • Wash gun with solvent and collect used solvent in second bucket beside booth for collection as hazardous waste by the material handler
  • Pick up spills of hazardous waste promptly with absorbent material
  • Exercise care in handling hazardous waste and follow the hazardous waste procedures
  • Replace filters and clean spray booth as required
  • Move materials and perform housekeeping as required
Skills and Experience
  • Good eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, and color sensitivity
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
  • Ability to follow work instructions
  • Performs jobs in a manner that minimizes hazards to self, others and the environment

  • Aware of conditions that affect own safety or safety of others

Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial spray painting experience
  • Background in automotive refinishing or high‑precision manufacturing coatings is strongly encouraged
  • Must be able to pass respiratory physical
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to ascend/descend stairs
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel
