You’ll stay hands-on while helping care for historic buildings, grounds, equipment, and physical systems. One day might involve carpentry or electrical work, while the next could mean plumbing, grounds maintenance, working with contractors, or preparing the site for a special event.
You’ll work closely with management to plan maintenance projects, solve problems, and provide advice and recommendations on the site’s maintenance needs. You’ll have a voice in how work gets done while staying hands-on and putting your skills to use in a variety of ways.
You’ll perform and oversee maintenance work, plan and coordinate projects, supervise maintenance staff, work with outside contractors, and help keep the site safe, functional, and ready for visitors.
You need:
Experience with lawn care, landscaping, snow removal equipment, HVAC, and fire/security systems is preferred but not required.
This is a full-time, on-site position working 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work for special events and operational needs.
