Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Ballwin-based facility operations specialist role, performing routine maintenance, renovations, and repairs at department facilities under supervision.

Responsibilities include interior and exterior building upkeep, cabinet and furniture assembly, landscaping, and occasional snow removal. This CAREER-LADDER position offers potential advancement with demonstrated skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Two years equivalent combination of post‑secondary education and experience in a building repair and maintenance field such as carpentry, electrical wiring, facilities operation and management, HVAC, or related.
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.
