Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas is seeking a BOP Facility Manager in Fort Worth to oversee maintenance, health/safety sanitation, local transportation, and food service components of facility operations. Direct supervision includes the Lead Residential Monitors Staff.

Responsibilities cover procurement, inventory, grounds upkeep, safety reporting, asbestos/chemical controls, and coordination with vendors. The role requires leadership, adherence to budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years supervisory experience or 5 years facility maintenance.
• Must be capable of managing multiple facility operations tasks and staff.
• Must obtain Food Manager certification and valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitors procurement and inventory of housekeeping, maintenance and food supplies.
• Supervises cleanliness of the physical plant and surrounding grounds.
• Directs supervision of facility services including food service, maintenance, and janitorial staff.
• Maintains reporting for funding agencies related to physical plant and grounds.
• Oversees inventory and disbursement of all facility linen.
• Maintains HazCom Notebook and Life/Safety compliance records.
• Schedules monthly fire drills and inspects facility fire extinguishers.
• Manages upkeep and preventive maintenance of agency vehicles.
• Submits maintenance reports and performs on-call duties.
