Job summary

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Project Manager to oversee maintenance activities for DoD and Federally Operated facilities. You will prepare scopes, justifications, and work packages with detailed descriptions and drawings, and determine the appropriate maintenance procedures based on building condition and equipment.

You will balance costs and lead cost estimates for service calls and projects.

Qualifications

Specialized experience coordinating maintenance and facility surveys.
Education: Master’s degree or higher; Ph.D. may be required for higher grades.
Ability to develop SOW and IGCE for projects and maintenance work.
Knowledge of agency policies, precedents, and regulations.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager for maintenance activities for DoD and Federally Operated facilities.
Prepare initial project scopes, descriptions, and justifications for maintenance/modifications.
Prepare work packages with drawings, changes, and detailed descriptions of work/equipment.
Determine maintenance procedures (contracts scope) based on material condition.
Assist the facility manager in balancing costs between preventive and major maintenance.
Develop/review scopes of work and cost estimates for maintenance and projects.
Review completed scopes by comparing actual costs with estimates.
Represent the District Commander as the primary point of contact for sponsors and agencies.
Serve as the authoritative source for decisions on project objectives.
