Clean Harbors in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Facility Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day facility operations and manage field operations. The role emphasizes health and safety, productivity, and regulatory compliance, with input on performance from Supervisors and Technicians.

The position requires supervisory experience in chemical operations, knowledge of environmental regulations, and budget experience, with an OT-eligible schedule and potential for bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory/management of chemical operations.
• Experience at hazardous waste/chemical facility preferred.
• P&L/budget experience.
• Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations.
• OSHA training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and safe work practices.
• Focus on productivity, safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure each project has an operating plan and that staff follow it.
• Onsite supervision, training and mentoring Supervisors and Technicians; provide performance input to GM.
• Manage daily production goals: trailer offloading/receiving, consolidation, shredding, and outbound operations.
• Perform general operations management duties and act as emergency coordinator on site.
