Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a hands-on Facility Manager for our 20-person site in Iowa. You will lead daily operations, supervise technicians, and drive uptime while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

You will schedule work, perform training and reviews, and enforce preventive maintenance. The role requires strong organizational skills, OSHA awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with physical tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical operations role with 1–2 years in a supervisory/lead capacity.
• Experience managing teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of site technicians, setting clear performance expectations.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and coverage to ensure uptime.
• Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and training to build skill.
