Job summary

JANSON is seeking an experienced Project Manager for facility modernization and general construction in Fairfax, VA. Immediate start; Secret clearance preferred or must be able to obtain.

You will manage cost, schedule, and performance, coordinating with DPW and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Ideal candidates hold a BS or equivalent experience with 3+ years in PM/construction, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency in Procore, MS Project,

Qualifications

• BS degree or commensurate experiences with at least 3 years of experience in project management and/or construction project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and drive profit and growth.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in Procore, MS Project, excel and other advanced project management software
• Ability to accomplish big picture objectives through a strong focus on detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, schedule and performance for facility modernization and general construction projects.
• Manage quality execution of each project.
• Work closely with JANSON’s Program Director.
• Ensure projects are executed on-time and on-budget.
• Respond to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
• Coordinate with clients and government personnel such as DPW.
• Ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract terms are adhered to.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as our in-house design team, subcontractors, and customers to ensure program alignment and success.
