U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Troy, Michigan seeks an experienced Facility Maintenance Mechanic to join our on-site team.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, roof top units, plumbing, and related equipment to ensure reliable operations. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, boiler/chiller experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
Boiler and Chiller experience required.
Good communicator (written and oral) with ability to interact with professionals, clients, and staff.
HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing experience preferred.
Must provide basic hand tools and testing equipment.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Willingness to learn new skills and assist co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Assist on-site team with maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical HVAC systems (boilers, chillers, roof top units, plumbing, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers).
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and actions such as lubrication, coil cleaning, filter changes, belt replacement.
Follow company safety guidelines, lockout/tag out procedures, PPE use.
Operate hand tools, laptops, and diagnostic equipment to perform work.
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to serve the customer.
Understand general aspects of the job and perform other duties as assigned.
May perform additional duties as needed to address business needs.
