Job summary

Amrize seeks a Facility Manager to lead the overall operation of the facility in Kansas, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory compliance. You will partner with the cement operation, manage budgets, and supervise staff; liaise with regulators and the community to maintain safe, efficient operations.

You will drive safety, manage daily activities, control costs, and coordinate capital projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers and transporters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years operational experience in a technical environment related to waste management and 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of the facility operation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop facility budget and manage expenditures against KPIs.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities, inventory, and trailer/transport communication.
• Interface with Geocycle personnel, customers, and transporters to ensure service quality.
• Lead training and development of facility staff and manage safety programs.
• Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations.
• Prepare and submit company reports and manage facility dashboards.
• Act as community relations representative and oversee recycling program.
