Job summary

Universal Parking in New Orleans seeks a Facility Manager to oversee daily operations of a Universal-operated property, including client relationships, maintenance scheduling, safety compliance, budgeting, and staff supervision. The role is full-time and on-site.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, plus a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with market leader to discuss facility operations.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and provide leadership.
• Identify and address training needs.
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with clients.
• Participate in community activities to promote the organization.
• Work with other managers on advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
• Assist with start-up and growth of new branches.
• Schedule and coordinate upkeep, repairs, and maintenance projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
• Explain parking agreements and provide facility information to prospective parkers.
• Develop and implement marketing plans for vacant spaces.
• Develop and present budgets and financial reports.
• Maintain property records, including revenue, maintenance costs, permits, and event calendars.
• Describe and enforce guidelines, rules, and regulations for customers.
