Job summary

Phoenix Houses of California is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise Recovery Support Staff and oversee daily operations of the treatment facility. The role focuses on safety, security, and efficient facility management, including staff training and documentation in accordance with policy and regulations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, DL, and DHCS-recognized credentials, with several years of supervisory experience in co-occurring settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid California driver’s license.
• Certified as an Alcohol and Drug (AOD) Counselor or registered as DHCS-recognized.
• Three years of experience in co-occurring residential/outpatient treatment.
• Two years of supervisory experience in co-occurring treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire Recovery Support Staff.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of staff and clients.
• Ensure safety, security, and facility efficiency; conduct contraband searches as needed.
• Document room/bed checks and facility checks per policy.
• Schedule drills and ensure compliance with licensure requirements.
• Investigate major incidents in the community as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs, client charts, and EHR documentation.
• Lead meetings and provide staff supervision and corrective action as needed.
• Train staff on treatment modalities and ensure training compliance.
• Supervise shift changes and ensure proper documentation and safety.
