Summary
ValidaTek is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and security of physical facilities supporting the Cybersecurity Systems Support (CSS) contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The Facility Manager ensures a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment for all personnel and equipment at the Pensacola site. This is a 100% on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of facility operations, including building maintenance, security, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate with government facility management and base support services to ensure uninterrupted mission support.
- Oversee access control procedures, physical security measures, and visitor management in compliance with DoD and DISA requirements.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility readiness, safety compliance, and adherence to applicable codes and regulations.
- Manage space allocation, office moves, and setup of work areas for employees and equipment.
- Develop and maintain facility documentation, including emergency response plans, safety protocols, and inspection reports.
- Serve as liaison between ValidaTek, government representatives, contractors, and vendors related to facility services.
- Monitor facility budgets and control costs related to maintenance, repairs, and support services.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing facility operations in a government or secured environment.
- Knowledge of DoD physical security requirements and facility management best practices.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with facility management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or DISA facilities.
- Certification in Facility Management (e.g., CFM, FMP).
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Experience coordinating with military base operations or government facility offices.

USD $65,000.00/Yr.
Posted Max Pay Rate
USD $90,000.00/Yr.
Salary Disclosure
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
