Job summary

Stampede Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Facility Manager for Groton, CT. The role oversees project management and safety oversight across multiple sites, with regular travel to New England, PA, MD, DE and VA.

Strong leadership and communication are essential to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure contract success. Requirements include 5–7 years of facility maintenance experience and 3–5 years PM on similar contracts, plus OSHA training within three years.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years facility maintenance experience.
• Three to five years PM on a facility maintenance contract.
• Thirty hours OSHA safety class within the past three years.
• Three years of experience in preparing and enforcing a safety program on contracts of similar size and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM and SSHO to the following facility locations: New England States, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
• Regular travel to contract facilities is required. Roughly 10-20% travel depending on needs.
• Manage the development and implementation process involving departmental or cross-functional teams.
• Develops project plans and supervises the execution of the Statement of Work requirements.
• Creates and tracks task lists; develops timelines for deliverables; creates and executes communications plan through scheduled meetings, E-mails and telephone calls while managing company resources to ensure quality performance from all employees.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through periodic project reviews, reports, and status briefings.
• Provides supervision including direction, coordination, and evaluation of contract personnel.

Wage/Salary Range: $60k - $85k

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

• Level of Experience Requirements: Five to seven (5-7) years facility maintenance experience
• Three to five (3-5) years of PM or OM experience on a facility maintenance contract
• Thirty (30) hours OSHA safety class or equivalent within the past three (3) years
• Three (3) years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing a safety program on contracts of similar size ($10M) and complexity.

• This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
