Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a safety‑driven logistics leader to oversee safety, DOT compliance, shipping, and warehouse operations at our Texas facilities. This role focuses on safeguarding people and assets while optimizing distribution processes and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Set a high standard for safety and ensure facilities comply with safety requirements.
• Schedule and monitor shipping to ensure safety and DOT conformity.
• Schedule and monitor warehouse operations to meet demand with safety and environmental compliance.
• Evaluate distribution, blending warehouse and maintenance operations for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policy and regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure operators receive and maintain required training.
• Manage company fleet including tractors, trailers, straight trucks and tankers.
• Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork and complete administrative duties.

Job description

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Set a high example of safety and ensure all facilities adhere to safety requirements.
• Schedule and monitor all shipping functions to ensure they are done safely and in accordance with DOT regulations and Brenntag procedures.
• Schedule and monitor all warehouse functions to meet customer demand, as well as all safety and environmental requirements.
• Evaluate distribution, blending warehouse and maintenance operations for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure all corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are applied.
• Ensure all operators receive and maintain required training.
• Maintain responsibility for company fleet including tractors, trailers, straight trucks and tankers.
• Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork.
• Complete all administrative duties, as assigned.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Education & Experience
