Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious warehouse operator at our Chandler, AZ site. You will receive and prep dry bulk products, verify paperwork, inspect packaging, and ensure quality through lab approvals before packaging.

You will label, bag, and store products, maintain packaging inventory, and assist in dry blending as needed. The role requires a GED or high school diploma, forklift certification, basic math, English proficiency, and willingness to work overtime or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year related experience or training.
• Combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Forklift operation safely; certification required.
• Knowledge to operate scales, conveyors, and bagging unit.
• Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator; facial hair restrictions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare incoming/outgoing dry bulk products.
• Verify product against documentation before unloading/loading.
• Inspect packaging materials prior to filling.
• Obtain lab approval for raw materials before packaging.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and lab approval.
• Label and fill bags, supersacks, and packages per SOPs.
• Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.
• Perform dry blending operator duties as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Follow Brenntag policies and procedures.
• Attend required training unless absent.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

• Receives and prepares incoming and outgoing dry bulk products by performing the following duties.
• Prior to unloading and/or bagging product, review all paperwork to ensure that the product being unloaded or loaded matches the documentation.
• Inspect all packaging materials inside and out prior to filling.
• Obtain laboratory approval for all raw materials delivered to the plant prior to packaging product.
• Ensure that applicable products meet all quality standards and have been approved by the lab prior to packaging.
• Properly mark, label and fill bags, supersacks and packages in accordance with Brenntag’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.
• Perform dry blending operator duties as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Forklift certification required.
• Possess knowledge to operate scales, conveyor belts and bagging unit.
• Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator. Cannot have any facial hair that may interfere with a respirator.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to ready, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
