Job summary

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance of facilities, equipment, and vehicles.

The role requires basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work, with the ability to operate and monitor systems and to maintain PM schedules. Day shift, rotating weekends/holidays, full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential job functions with adequate communication.
• Visual acuity sufficient for inspections and operation of equipment.
• Willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks on facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs building inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
• Maintains PM schedules and logs, and keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Operates and monitors systems that provide steam or chilled water to AHU equipment.
