Job summary

Bristol Motor Speedway is seeking a Facility Technician in the Operations Department to repair and maintain BMS/BD, performing tasks based on facility and event needs. Non-event time focuses on maintenance and projects related to carpentry, painting, and hardware upkeep.

During events, you will ensure guest readiness, support track painting for sponsor logos, and assist with ice rink and light show setup and removal, with extended hours as races demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs regularly.
• Able to operate ladders and scaffolding.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Experience with carpentry and building maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry related building maintenance and repairs.
• Paint as needed.
• Maintain and repair door closures, locks and keys.
• Operate and maintain equipment (paint sprayers, power tools, etc.).
• Support event operations including guest readiness, track painting, and suite-level work.
