Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance, appearance, and operations at ONE DAYTONA in Daytona Beach. The role focuses on safety, cleanliness, and guest experience, with involvement in events and facility operations.

The position requires a hands-on individual who can work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed, coordinating with the Property Operations team to keep the destination welcoming for tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of general building or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Skills in painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Experience with commercial maintenance equipment and scissor lifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property daily for maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns.
• Maintain appearance by removing litter and keeping public spaces clean.
• Operate pressure washing equipment for sidewalks, exteriors, and signage.
• Maintain grounds, walkways, drainage, and landscaping.
• Perform repairs across painting, drywall, doors, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Assist with setup/teardown for events and displays.
• Support maintenance equipment and traffic signage and control devices.
• Safely operate equipment including scissor lifts for projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage access for projects.
• Monitor housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and safety.
