Purpose Statement

Perform routine and specific maintenance services, including grounds work.

Essential Functions

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
• Act as backup for emergency call-outs, respond promptly and appropriately.
• Handle equipment safely, demonstrating knowledge of tools and safety procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports as required.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, lighting, and fire extinguishers.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing systems, furniture, and other facility components.

Other Functions

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.
• Knowledge of general building/maintenance practices preferred.
