Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required.
• Experience in long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints and to use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspects drives, motors, belts, fluids and filters as needed.
• Assembles or repairs wiring, plumbing, and related components.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in work areas and reports issues.
