Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Los Angeles properties. The role supports building systems through routine maintenance and minor repairs under supervision of the Chief Engineer. You will handle repairs, safety compliance, and coordination with tenants and vendors.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years in HVAC/electrical/mechanical/plumbing, plus basic IT and Outlook skills. 100% in-office position with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls or plumbing.
• Basic laptop/phone work order apps and Microsoft Outlook skills.
• Engineering or trade licenses as required by local/state/national rules.
• Familiar with fire/life safety equipment and procedures.
• Strong customer service with tenants, vendors and staff.
• Familiar with blueprints and code requirements.
• Able to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and their care.
• Ability to read/write English to understand manuals and write reports.
• Willing to develop proficiency in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair restroom facilities, toilets, soap dispensers and clear drains.
• Carry, stack, sort materials and remove debris as needed.
• Safely drive company vehicles for parts and supplies per traffic laws.
• Maintain/replace door hardware, minor furniture, floor maintenance, basic painting.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning in engineering/mechanical spaces and equipment.
• Replace lamps, air filters, ceiling tiles and fire extinguishers.
• Communicate professionally with teammates, leadership, vendors, tenants, and clients.
• Interact with tenants, engineers, and contractors while working.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; comply with OSHA/NEC/NFPA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
