Sam Leman Automotive Group is seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to service our Central Illinois dealership facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative care across multiple locations, ensuring buildings and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC, along with the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or facility maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and preventative maintenance across multiple locations.
• Complete general repairs: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and repair them promptly.
• Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance including landscaping and snow removal.
• Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs early.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Maintain maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
• Travel between dealership locations as needed.

We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining dealership buildings, grounds, and equipment across our Central Illinois locations. Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and preventative maintenance.


• Complete general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance.


• Troubleshoot and repair facility issues in a timely manner.


• Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including landscaping and snow removal as needed.


• Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.


• Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized repairs are required.


• Ensure dealership facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.


• Maintain maintenance records and follow all company safety procedures.


• Travel between dealership locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or facility maintenance experience preferred.


• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.


• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
