Qualifications
- Active and valid Wisconsin driver's license required.
- Experience in facility maintenance, building trades, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Complete plumbing repairs and installations.
- Perform basic electrical work and repairs.
- Operate snow plows and conduct snow removal during winter months.
- Apply sidewalk salt and ensure safe walking surfaces.
- Complete landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.
- Perform general carpentry work and building repairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
- Travel between PWS facilities as needed (Madison and Milwaukee).
