Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure mechanical systems and equipment operate correctly and that common areas remain clean, aesthetically appealing, and disinfected. Location is Boca Raton, FL, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm and pay of $23–$25 per hour.

The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, painting duties as needed, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
• 2+ years of general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects floors and common areas and reports issues to supervisors.
• Adheres to safety procedures while performing work.
• Maintains good working relationships with building staff.
• Paints and touch-ups in common areas as needed and assesses areas needing paint.
