The position requires a high school diploma and at least three years of related maintenance experience, with on-call responsibilities and 24-hour shift coverage.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Three years of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Formal training in one of the above or related fields can substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Identifies maintenance needs or repairs and performs basic repairs of plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance issues.
• Prioritizes and verifies completions of work orders.
• Requisitions maintenance tools and supplies as needed.
• Supervises and assists offenders in daily maintenance and repair tasks while maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Tracks assignment of tools and parts
