Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of a correctional facility in Lumpkin, GA. The role directs staff and inmates, develops preventive maintenance plans, and manages capital expenditures to ensure safety and reliability of building systems.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, extensive construction/maintenance experience, and supervisory credentials.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in general construction or plant/institutional maintenance.
• Two Years Of Supervisory Experience Is Required.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction and the operation of building systems is preferred.
• Experience In Microsoft Office Applications Is Required.
• Experience with an Enterprise Asset Management system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the correctional facility and facilities systems.
• Direct, schedule and manage maintenance personnel and inmates/residents.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and evaluate work orders for cost efficiency and quality.
• Participate in capital expenditure planning and replacement scheduling.
• Make recommendations on personnel actions and staffing.
