Job summary

Corrections Corporation of America CCA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Lumpkin, GA to oversee the maintenance of a correctional facility. You will direct, schedule and manage personnel responsible for building systems, plumbing, electrical, and grounds.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least seven years in general construction or plant maintenance, two years of supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
• Seven years of experience in general construction or plant/institutional maintenance is required.
• Two Years Of Supervisory Experience Is Required.
• Additional qualifications or technical training in a maintenance or construction-related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. No substitution for supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction and the operation of building systems is preferred.
• Experience In Microsoft Office Applications Is Required.
• Experience with an Enterprise Asset Management system is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of the correctional facility and manage personnel in maintenance, repair and upkeep.
• Direct, schedule and supervise building structures, systems, and grounds including plumbing and electrical work.
