Job Purpose:
The Housekeeping and Maintenance Manager position will be primarily responsible for overseeing the effective management of housekeeping and maintenance operations at the Tiburon Peninsula Club. This role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, overseeing staff performance, inventory management, and compliance with established procedures. The manager will also provide exceptional service to club members and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and pride in the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Management:
Organizes and co-owns the implementation of work schedules and assigned tasks for housekeeping and maintenance staff. Conducts onboarding and regular check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days, as well as mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews.
Goal Setting and KPI Tracking:
Works with staff to establish clear goals that affect Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and bonuses. Monitors progress towards hitting milestones and adjusts strategies as needed.

Inventory Management:
Responsible for tracking housekeeping and maintenance supplies, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and reporting findings through Excel and PowerPoint presentations. Implements and maintains 5S standards throughout Facility in Maintenance and housekeeping.
CMMS Maintenance Tracking:
Keeps up with the Brightly CMMS system by timely tracking, opening, and closing work orders. Ensure that all issues are documented and resolved efficiently.
Payroll System Proficiency:
Learns and manages the new Paycor payroll system, ensuring accurate employee time entry and coding, as well as understanding the ins and outs of asset management.
Vendor Management:
Maintains a list of contacted vendors to negotiate better pricing without compromising quality. Regularly reviews vendor performance to ensure standards are met.
Training and Development:
Encourages continuous learning for the Manager team members, including improving Managers skills in Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting. Improving staff skills in effective communication with Staff and members and written reporting.
Safety Meetings:
Creates and conducts safety meetings bi-weekly to ensure all staff are informed about safety protocols, procedures, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Filling in as Manager on Duty:
Fills in as Manager on Duty (At the discretion of the Assistant GM) as needed and works any assigned shifts to spread training and knowledge to off-shift employees. Trains other departments in safety protocols and procedures.
Communication and Team Collaboration:
Fosters open communication within the team and collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service delivery. Build morals with team by mentoring them and visiting the off shift and weekend teams in housekeeping and maintenance.
General Maintenance Knowledge:
Maintains a general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other maintenance-related tasks, providing guidance to the team as needed.
Reporting:
Report any suspicious security issues to the Director immediately and communicate effectively with all departments.
