Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff at our San Marcos, CA community.

The role includes routine grounds and facility maintenance, involvement in preventative maintenance, and support for HVAC, electrical and safety systems. A high school diploma or GED and basic technical knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical school education preferred.
• One year maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must have basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and mechanical ability for routine maintenance.
• Must understand OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with HVAC, domestic water systems, pumps, refrigeration, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Perform deep cleaning and resident suite make-ready rooms as assigned.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
