Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball is seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs on industrial processing equipment at the Kimball facility. The role requires mechanical aptitude with a strong health and safety focus and offers a wage of $32.75+ per hour, DOE, paid weekly with overtime.

The schedule includes four 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating basis, with one night week and four day weeks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hydraulic system repair experience
  • Compressor, conveyors and other industrial processing equipment
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred; willing to train in oil/gas, railroad, wind turbine, military
  • Heavy equipment repair experience
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Possess cutting rig for welding

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely at all times
  • Industrial maintenance experience; conveyors, compressors hydraulic system, kiln, boilers, electrical, welding
  • Disassemble/reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair
  • Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
  • Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and repair or replace defective components
  • Monitor equipment to ensure repairs and testing are completed for proper operation
  • Other duties as assigned

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration units are seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician who is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility industrial processing equipment . We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety to join our team in Kimball, $32.75+ hourly, DOE, paid weekly w/ OT 4- 12 hour shifts per week: (5) week rotation, (1) week of nights, the other (4) weeks are days. They have (1) of the weeks where they work (4) 10 hr. days.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair

  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred! Willing to train maintenance experience from the following industries: oil/gas, railroad, wind turbine and military.

  • Ability to use a cutting rig- welding
  • Proficient with computers and systems
  • Knowledge of the industry's latest technology or having experience working with electronics

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste

  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
  • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Punctuality and attendance required
  • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
  • Background check, drug screen and physical- required
