A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Facility & Maintenance Manager responsible for overseeing maintenance programs and processes to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical and electrical repairs, leadership capabilities, and strong communication skills. This exciting role involves directing daily maintenance activities, optimizing schedules, and developing preventive maintenance protocols while ensuring safety and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Facility & Maintenance Manageris a key factory staff member responsible for directing, inspecting, and maintaining programs and processes that support the facility and maintenance department within Kimber Manufacturing. The Facility & Maintenance Manager will work in concert with cross-functional teams and other departments to provide support in achieving facility and maintenance goals defined and established by upper management.
The Facility & Maintenance Manager will supervise and assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of equipment and machinery to include: CNC milling and turning machines, grinders, and general machine shop equipment. This position will supervise contractors performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics outside of the skill level of internal personnel. The Facility & Maintenance Manager will further develop internal competency to reduce contracted repairs and speed repair processes.
