The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall safety of the hospital and for hospital operations related to Environment of Care and Life Safety.
The Facility Maintenance Manager serves on the hospital Safety/Environment of Care Committee and the Hazardous Materials and Waste Subcommittee.
The Facility Maintenance Manager considers the safety of patients, visitors, and employees from the perspective of the physical environment, work processes, and operational procedures.
The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for oversight of the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Transportation departments, as applicable, for the designated hospital.
This position oversees campus maintenance and environmental services operations with a focus on excellence in patient, employee, and family safety.
The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, including the building, grounds, equipment, and all maintenance needs.
This position also provides oversight of Environment of Care and Life Safety requirements throughout the hospital.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the building trades, with an emphasis on Life Safety and Environment of Care within healthcare settings.
