Job summary

Premium Production is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Hildale, UT to handle daily work orders and perform basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

You will inspect grounds, ensure sanitation per 21 CFR 111, and maintain safety standards while lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied weather conditions. A strong emphasis on detail and reliability is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or a similar trade role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Practical knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Experience with cGMP or food safety standards (21 CFR 111) is a strong plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform active manual labor, indoors and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills to receive tasks and log completed work orders.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to manage a daily list of priorities.

Position Overview:

As the Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will handle day-to-day work orders, conduct routine building inspections, and fix basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues. You will report directly to the Facility Maintenance Manager, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion without cutting corners. We need someone who notices the small details, respects safety regulations, and takes pride in a well-maintained workspace. If you work hard, take direction well, and enjoy practical hands-on problem-solving, you will succeed in this position.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to work orders quickly and perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, locks, and building fixtures.

• Inspect, clean, and maintain plant grounds, parking lots, and walkways to keep entryways clear, safe, and free of trash or pests.

• Follow regulatory requirements (21 CFR 111.15) to keep our physical space sanitary and prevent any risk of product contamination.

• Monitor facility plumbing, drainage, sewage, and handwashing stations to make sure they deliver clean water and operate safely.

• Dispose of trash, waste, and hazardous materials according to strict environmental and safety standards.

• Track inventory for tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies so the team has what it needs to complete repairs.

• Spot safety hazards, structural damage, or system malfunctions and fix them or report them immediately to your manager.

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or a similar trade role preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Practical knowledge of hand and power tools, along with basic troubleshooting skills for electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

• Experience working under cGMP or food safety standards (such as 21 CFR 111) is a strong plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform active manual labor throughout the day, and work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.

• Basic computer skills to receive tasks and log completed work orders

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage a daily list of priorities while taking feedback and instruction well.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay:$20 to $25 per hour dependent on experience

Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
