- Herbally Yours, Inc. Gilbert, Arizona
About Us
Herbally Yours, Inc. is an established contract manufacturer specializing in dietary supplements, including powders, capsules, and liquids. We manufacture products for leading health and wellness brands in a cGMP-regulated environment.
We are seeking an experienced, highly dependable, and **hands-on Maintenance Lead Technician** to take ownership of production equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility maintenance.
This is a **working technician position**, not a desk-based management role. The position includes troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, completing scheduled preventive maintenance, coordinating outside vendors when necessary, maintaining accurate maintenance records, managing spare parts and supplies, and responding promptly to production equipment failures.
We are looking for someone who takes **ownership of the facility and its equipment**. If something is leaking, malfunctioning, unsafe, overdue for service, or beginning to fail, we expect our Maintenance Lead to recognise it, address it, and communicate the status appropriately.

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure PM activities are completed on time and properly documented.

- Diagnose problems systematically rather than relying solely on outside service providers.
- Determine when repairs can be completed internally and when qualified outside vendors are required.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes for replacement parts, equipment repairs, and thirdparty services.
- Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and service technicians when necessary.
- Verify that contracted repairs and maintenance work have been satisfactorily completed before closing the project.
- Use proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow all applicable workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair histories, preventive maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
- Maintain the maintenance calendar and ensure required inspections, services, and preventive maintenance activities are completed by their due dates.
- Monitor spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies and anticipate future requirements to prevent unnecessary downtime.
- Purchase or request parts and supplies in accordance with company purchasing procedures.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Maintain maintenance areas, tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organised condition.
- Promptly identify, correct, or report safety hazards and facility issues.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with equipment installation, relocation, set up, qualification and improvement projects.
- Train employees on equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, safety procedures, and applicable SOPs when required.

- High school diploma or GED required. Technical or tradeschool education is a plus but handson experience and demonstrated technical ability are valued more highly than formal education.
What We are Looking For
The right person for this position is a **problem solver who takes ownership**.
We need someone who does not wait for a production machine to completely fail before taking action. You should be comfortable walking through a facility, recognising that something does not sound, look, or operate correctly, investigating the problem, and taking appropriate action.
You should also be able to work independently and productively without constant supervision. This position requires someone who can establish priorities, manage a maintenance schedule, respond appropriately to emergencies, complete routine preventive maintenance and follow projects through until they are finished.
Just as importantly, we value communication and accountability. If a repair cannot be completed immediately, management and affected departments should know what the problem is, what is being done, what is needed, and when the equipment is expected to be operational again.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping equipment running, the facility maintained, and the workplace safe, and who understands that in manufacturing reliable maintenance directly affects production, quality and safety and our ability to serve our customers.
